Pair of Czechoslovakian "Zukov" Brass Table Lamps

£750.00

On offer is this rare pair of table lamps. Produced in the 1950s by Zukov in Czechoslovakia these quality brass and enamelled pressed steel desk or table lamps are certain to be a conversation starter. With influence from the 1930s Bauhaus and reminiscent of the famous Danish, Louis Poulson PH5 ceiling light, which like these lamps are supposed to bring a soft ambient down light to the space making them ideal bedside reading lights or equally as unique desk lamps.

You can be sure none of your friends will have these. The lamps have an attractive patina and less wear than other examples I have seen.

Priced at over £700 each when they can be found elsewhere. Here is an opportunity to have a pair for £750.

Like a lot of quality vintage items these will hold their value, unlike a mass produced modern imitations of the mid century design aesthetic.

Professionally rewired for with a black cord to match the stems and PAT tested for safety and their heavy brass bases have been fitted with new matching switches. These lamps have been authentically restored to be used for many years to come.

The Zukov lamps have good proportions and measure: Hight 36cm Diameter 28cm.
