Pink Murano Glass Splash Vase - Late 1960s-70s - Sommerso - Cranberry - 35cm
A Lovely mid-century centrepiece Italian, art-glass, splash dish/vase. Of a size that is large enough to make a statement and yet is versatile enough in terms of placement options for the home.
A decorative piece of art glass, in a delightful pink colour that is skilfully hand-crafted to give an array of hues in different lights and from different angles. Not at all garish in appearance, this would give a desirable pop of colour in a neutral decor and obviously can be instinctively placed in other colour schemes to personal preference.
Approximately 35cm wide and 20.5cm at it’s tallest.
The condition of the piece is “good-vintage”. There are a few small scratches and a very tiny chip “skimmed” off the top of one of the extremities (see photo) I have tried to photograph well enough for you to see the condition of the piece. There are the usual manufacturing imperfections as expected in a hand-made piece of glass and there are “nibbles” all around the edges of the base, to me this gives authenticity of it’s age and cannot be seen when the piece is displayed.
