A lovely example of this vintage mid-century, much sought after, desk lamp. The condition of this Roller lamp is good. A well-used barn find with slight paint losses and a little dent to the shade, as can often be found with these workshop lamps. The mechanism is still working really well and holds position gracefully. There is a small red paint mark to the side of the barrel weight.
This ingenious, iconic, British, mid-century design ceased production in 1955, making this lamp a scarce survivor.
Measurements depend on the positioning of the lamp. But resting as it is in the first photo, it’s approximately 72cm tall and 43cm across.
Rewired and PAT electrical safety tested by a professional lighting specialist.
